Yoga Sutra
Book Club
A bi-weekly dharma talk, we gather at my home on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings of the month.
This class is for yoga teachers & students who want to know the authentic roots of yoga philosophy. This class is taught in the traditional small group, conversational format through which yoga has been shared for countless generations. Each class we look a new topic, and a few of the texts that address it. We look at the original sources one word at a time, and draw out the implications of each concept with story and sharing.

Personal Coaching
I have limited capacity to work with students one-on-one. I typically have no more than 12 active students at any one time that I meet with individually - usually between once a week and once a month. I help students with a wide range of yoga questions. Some are seeking to temporarily modify their studio practice as a result of injury, others are seeking personalized life and/or spiritual coaching based on the principles of yoga. I take students based on a sincere curiosity about what will happen if they actually do the work. When I was a backcountry guide I could show people the path to the top of the mountain, but they had to take all the steps themselves. To start this practice you don’t even have to know that you need hiking boots. But you do have to be ready to hike.
To find out more about whether we might work well together I offer free a 30-minute meeting or phone call. Even if we decide I’m not the appropriate teacher for you, I know lots of other qualified teachers who might be able to help. Contact me via email, and we can set up a time to visit.
